my story

I was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and I have been designing and building furniture for more than thirty years. My training is rooted in modern American and English design. Since moving to Kailua-Kona Hawaii in 1994 I have been studying Asian and Hawaiian furniture design and have been experiencing tremendous success with my creations in traditional and modern Asian and Hawaiian style furniture. I have received multiple top honors awards for "Best of Show" and numerous "Honorable Mention" awards at both Island-wide and Statewide juried woodworking shows, and I am a past president of the "Hawaii Wood Guild".

The pieces of furniture that I create speak for themselves - they are not just works of art, they are beautiful expressions of the natural world around us.
